Our Steem Origin Story | @sndbox Challenge ❤ [ENG]

Hello, dear readers and fellow steemians! Today we have met with a fun challenge @sndbox team, which seemed a good idea to join us but there is little time to finish (If you want to participate, click here). This challenge is based on telling your origin in the Steemit community, how you got to know the platform and showing your followers that part of the story that led to everything you are here today.

Previously we have already told our origin, in several opportunities, but never is it any more nor does it bother us to share it. Today, with our 741 followers, everything that we live here seems like a dream and makes us immensely happy to be able to grow, learn and create better versions of ourselves every day in Steemit.

Steemit, A World Full of Possibilities...

When @miguelarl spoke to us about the platform the first days of December 2017, our world changed. We thought it sounded interesting and that's why we decided to investigate before we got into that. We read, watched videos and learned many things on the way before checking in. We wanted to know everything we could, we were so excited.

We had always planned projects together, from YouTube channels to write a complete story, but they were the kind of things you spend a whole night talking about and the next day you forget. When we forced ourselves to focus on Steemit seriously, not leaving it alone in words and dreams, it was that everything we ever imagined began to materialize.

The origins of @cafeconleche.

We spend hours choosing our user. We were hesitant in that, we thought of so many names, but none identified us enough, until in one of those unexpected ideas that one usually has, came Cafeconleche. We love coffee with milk, it is one of our favorite drinks and, as we usually take it for breakfast or dinner to accompany, we said Why not?; if it is something that identifies us as a team and, at the same time, as friends that we have been for so many years.

So we checked in, then we waited for an entire night imagining how many thousands of things we could talk about: our pets, recommend movies or series, our different passions ... We had a project, which excited us so much, but we never expect to grow in the same way in which we have been growing, and much less that we would end up doing things of which we felt so proud. It did not take many days for us to accept, in fact, it was the next day; That same night we started to draw our first logo and write our first publication.

We have changed our path a lot after that, although we do not completely lose the essence of what has brought us to Steemit, we did discover a new part of us and passions that had always been there but we did not take much attention from them. To illustrate, to draw, to write and to get to know other admirable people has been one of the best experiences, every time we try to share better works with our readers and contribute positively in the community. Doing what we love and that many people around the world can see, support, suggest improvements, is something that we think is wonderful and is one of our favorite reasons why we are grateful to be here.

Who knows what the future holds, and we will never forget what we learned from the past, but we sincerely hope to continue developing and discovering new parts of ourselves, not letting the projects we can die die, because having believed in Steemit was completely worth it.

We hope that our entrance to the challenge has pleased you, as we have loved to write it and share it. If you have something to add or any questions, you can comment and we will be answering them as soon as possible with a smile.

Say goodbye, from this side of the world, @cafeconleche.
