Part Three of my book, Sapien Loop, has been published on my @captainhive account. This collection post contains all twenty-five chapters from Part Three.
Part Three begins several months after the events of Part Two. During this time, the Business Sector Government had rolled back many of the newly given ‘rights’ and had tightened the law.
Darius is struggling to get his life on track after the dismantling of the Inquisitives. He is given new hope when a quirky specialist takes him to a new fun region. However, not everything is what it seems.
Demarcus sets off to begin a course at a university in a nearby region. Unfortunately, for him, he does not arrive, as the train is derailed. Instead, he goes on another adventure, which leads him through the wastelands and the Southern Agriculture Zone.
Jacob discovers many dead and mutilated Water Sapes on one of his fishing trips. It appears they have been attacked and eaten by much larger creatures. Pardi claims the Sapes have turned on each other because the water has been contaminated by tiny toxic particles. Pardi takes advantage of the situation to develop a solution that he claims will protect the regions’ water supply from contamination.
Lily and Pardi’s secret relationship becomes exposed. This has serious ramifications for Lily’s career and her chances for maintaining her position as Governor. Demarcus seeks out Lily, as he believes she knows what is truly going on and is the only one who might be able shed some light on what he has discovered so far.

This chapter briefly catches up with many of the main characters of the story. It briefly explains what they have been doing since the end of Part Two.

Darius has become very depressed. His family have become greatly concerned about him. They call in a specialist, Mikayla, to help.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 48: Welcome to Jeed
Darius travels to a new region, Jeed, with Mikayla. She deems it necessary for him to become more involved in society. Jeed offers Darius opportunities he would not have in Adoy.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 49: Rehabilitation or Just Having Fun
Darius is having a lot of fun in Jeed. It appears he is well on his way to recovering. Could Jeed become Darius’ new home?
Sapien Loop - Chapter 50: Nothing Is Ever What It Seems
Darius finds out that not everything in Jeed is to his liking. Mikayla convinces him he needs to embrace more things even if they do not initially appeal to him. Just when everything is going great, things suddenly take a turn for the worse.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 51: Train Ride
It is time for Demarcus to head to university. On the way, he is reunited with two old school friends. Their journey is suddenly interrupted and Demarcus and his friends find themselves in great peril.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 52: Gone Fishing
Jacob has gone fishing. His trip encounters a problem even before he has a chance to leave the dock. There is something in the water. It appears to be killing the Water Sapes.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 53: Jeed Clean Up
Mikayla had been in the agriculture zone for several days. She stumbles across two old friends from Jeed. What initially looked like a friendly reunion quickly goes sour.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 54: Secrets of the Wastelands
Demarcus and his friends are still wandering the wastelands. They come across a strange waste disposal building. Demarcus wants to explore but his friend, Delford, strongly opposes his curiosity and would rather continue their journey to the agriculture zone.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 55: New Drug
This chapter reveals that the enforcers are given drugs during training. These drugs have a permanent effect on them. They cause aggression and obedience. Dr. Cortex has invented a new drug that causes complete obedience. He uses Vulay as a test subject.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 56: The Sight of Green Grass
The journey through the wastelands has taken its toll on Demarcus and his friends. They finally see the agriculture zone in the distance. Unfortunately, not all of them make it to safety.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 57: Hidden Cruelty
Demarcus and his friends begin a new adventure in the agriculture zone. They come across a giant Sape meat factory. They break in to see what is happening on the inside. What they find shocks them.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 58: Brother Is That You?
While continuing their journey through the agriculture zone, Demarcus and his friends have a close encounter with a group of Sapiods. Demarcus notices something oddly familiar about one of the Sapiods.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 59: Feeling the Heat
Several days later, Demarcus and his friends reached Jeed. Demarcus wanted to find Mikayla. He had many questions he wanted to ask her. Their encounter catches Mikayla by surprise. Mikayla soon becomes aware of a shocking truth.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 60: Finger in Every Pie
Many events had unfolded in Jeed over the past few weeks. Pardi wanted to take advantage of these events. By doing so, he would gain financially as well as more easily pursue his own agenda.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 61: In Search of Hope
Adoy was a region in grief. The train crash took the lives of many of its residents. Jacob and Janice had lost one son and the other was missing. Rednik, the enforcer who helped Darius after the wall incident, offered to help find the missing son.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 62: Investigation
Rednik arrived in Jeed. He conducted a thorough investigation in an attempt to find Darius but had no luck. Instead, he found hope that Demarcus might still be alive.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 63: You Can’t See Me
Rednik headed into the agriculture zone in pursuit of Demarcus. He discovers parts of the buggy Demarcus had used to escape Jeed. It appeared Demarcus had headed into the wastelands.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 64: Taking Down the GOAT
Lily was in West campaigning for re-election. Everything started out well for her but things begin to unravel when one of her closest friends betray her. The Business Sector media take advantage of the situation in an attempt to bring down Lily.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 65: Under My Control
The drug testing on Vulay appears to have been successful. She now follows all commands without question. Dr. Cortex has decided to implant a microchip into Vulay’s brain so that she can be controlled by artificial intelligence.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 66: Debate the Truth
Demarcus has returned to Adoy. He brings with him a lot of information he desires to share with his fellow Adoy residents but does not know how to do it. Jacob offers to help by being an audience member at a live debate with the candidates for the upcoming election.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 67: The General Election
The General Election has arrived. Will the Business Sector candidates take over Sepay?
Sapien Loop - Chapter 68: New Head Enforcer
Lily has responded to Demarcus’ message. To his delight, she had agreed to meet him in West. Finally, the old Adoy Head Enforcer got his promotion. A press conference is held to announce the new one.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 69: Great First Day
The new Head Enforcer has a very busy first day. She meets with Rednik for an update on the latest happenings in Adoy. She finds out that Demarcus and Polly had survived the train crash. She also meets with Denise and sends enforcers over to look for Demarcus.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 70: Meeting the GOAT
Demarcus was on his way to West to meet Lily. On his journey, he goes to great lengths to avoid detection. When he eventually meets Lily, he finds out a strange truth about himself. Lily begins to reveal the truth about everything. This chapter wraps up Part Three.
