Hey Gang!,
For most of those who don't know, there are a myriad of benefits that can be had from using the #Cannabis plant medicinally.
Today we present to you the Cannabinoid Wheel of Fortune and Good Health.
Take a look at the various divisions in the wheel.
The #Cannabinoids wheel separates each cannabinoid commonly found on the #Marijuana plant.
Please keep in mind that there are over 300+ cannabinoids found on the #cannabis plant so don't let this illustration limit your imagination. There is still lots more research that needs to be conducted in a clinical setting before we will truly know all the wonderful healing powers of cannabinoids, but for now we have a lot of test cases who have been more than willing to provide subjective feedback to learn a little bit.
On this chart you will notice that CBD is by far the most medicinal cannabinoid found on the marijuana plant so far.
CBD has been long thought to neutralize cancer by signaling to the non-apoptotic cells that it is time to die.
#Cancer cells are like #zombies. The mechanism that would tell a normal cell when to die is gone from these zombie cells. So cancer cells start to split in order to stay alive. Then they cluster together (metastasize) to form a colony of zombie cells otherwise known as a tumor. Since they don't know when to die (because they don't know they are already dead?) something needs to trigger that cell-death-signal.
Enter CBD. In recent non-U.S. studies Cannabidiol (pronounced: can-ah-bitty-all) has been shown to not only tell that zombie cell to die, but it also reduces the inflammation associated with rapid cell death (shown in chemotherapy patients).
So fellow #Steemit family, make sure you study your C-B-D's!
Oh, and before I forget (common side effect) let me remind you that in the studies conducted abroad, especially those by Dr. Manuel Guzman, it has been shown that CBD is activated with small amounts of THC.
So while you are learning your C-B-D's,
Don't forget to take your vitamins T, H, and C.
