Happy, Healthy, Homey #2: Take It Outside

Greetings Steemians!

Here at the @gardenofeden, we are living a life of THRIVAL, going far above and beyond survival. We are creating and sharing a lifestyle that is rich, juicy, yummy and au natural.

The weather here in Texas has turned from frightful to down right delightful and we've been taking full advantage.

Recently when I whip out the snacks and the sammiches, we head outside for a picnic lunch!

The trampoline and the Do-Deck are two of our favorite spots.

We have (just one now) a 12 foot trampoline in our front yard that has been host to countless hours of laughter and fun, whether bouncing, napping or having a snack.

The Do-Deck is a dodecahedron shaped wooden platform situated in the middle of the garden, perfectly named by yours truly.

If you are a hardcore steemer like my homies @quinneaker or @saramiller, you probably be spending copious amounts of time with your face in a screen, and not quite enough synthesizing your own Vitamin D...Unless you take it outside like Sara does.

Whether your lunch is handmade just for you with love like theirs is, or whether you bought it from total strangers, I am here as a Steemy Mama to encourage you to Take It Outside!

And, I wasn't planning this, but it's just springing forth:

The blockchain can wait.

It's always open late

Your health must come first.

Don't ignore your thirst.

Get outta your chair.

Go get some fresh air.

Have a nice snack.

You can head right back.

So take it outside,

get some sun on that hide,

Reach for the sky

Appreciate the clouds floating by.

After you're done,

Had a stretch and some fun

You can return to your desk

And continue your quest

For whales and upvotes

On a fresher note.

But seriously, taking your lunch or snack outside is a great way to get just a bit more health and vitality into your day, without having to go way out of your way to make it happen.

Enjoy and Steem On!
