Pidgin is the lifeblood of many conversations at the grassroot in Nigeria. It helps you connect easily.
Interesting thing is even if you can't speak Queen's English, pidgin English is just fine.
Perhaps we need to place more premium on it (pidgin)- the language has evolved over the years in response to intra and inter ethnic forces within the country. We can make it an integral part of our local parlance.
