The Lonely years...
You do not become a leading influence because you read many books.
You become one because of installed capacities built through many lonely years.
The hardest thing in this world is staying focused in times of gnawing need. That moment of need is your grim hour when your mettle is tested.
It becomes compounded when contemporaries seem to have moved on and you are in a race against time: to "catch up".
It gets worse when ego keeps you from reaching out, from asking help for fear of losing your glitter in the minds of those who still think there's something there.
These lonely moments casting their eerie silhouettes on the troubled mind force you to challenge everything you believe, everything you stand for. It is here that you mentally strip yourself bare of all illusions.
It is at this point you realise that you are alone. And that greatness is forged in private flames. With this realisation, a journey starts: your lonely years.
The greatest gift these lonely years bestow is the gift of a personal epiphany. This is not about knowledge merely, it is about finding light. Knowledge enlightens, light lightens you up.
With this revelation, you start to build capacity to manifest your true gift to the world: the gift of influence.
Mark that man who seem lonely and slow- starting, he might just be building the capacity needed to astound the world.
Mark that man who is not afraid to be wrong, vulnerable, ready to let go, unafraid to stand alone, unfit for many labels, he might be in his lonely years, carving away at a masterpiece, blow by blow.
These are the years when character is burned into the soul and a man becomes immune to his own fears. Dont waste a crisis. Learn that when a man becomes broken and then repairs from within, he becomes unbreakable.
The lonely years... Maker of men
" Jesus' brothers said to him you ought to leave here and go to Judea so that your disciples may see the miracles you do. No one who wants to become a public figure act in secret. Since you are doing these things show yourself to the world " for even his own brothers did not believe in him. Therefore Jesus told them, "The right time for me has not yet come; for you any time is right"
John7:3-6
Now that we are sons of God,the world awaits our manifestation.
