Three entrepreneurs I find inspiring. But who inspires you?

I thought I’d write a little post (it started out little anyway!) about three people that are currently inspiring me. For me personally, it helps to purposefully consume content from people who are going in the direction that I want to go in. These people have in some way encouraged me to think differently, inspired me to start building my own thing and have led me to take massive action. Anyway, I hope some of these incredible people might help you too!

Gary Vaynerchuck

Who’s he?

Gary Vaynerchuk is an incredible 21st century entrepreneur. He grew his family wine business from $4m to $45m in just five years. He then went on to start VaynerMedia with his brother AJ Vaynerchuk, one of the fastest growing media agencies in the world. If you were watching the World Series final which saw the Chicago Cubs storm ahead to victory, Vayner was responsible for the brilliant piece of media in collaboration with Budweiser, documenting the Cubs heritage and journey to the final. Gary also is a seed investor in some major tech start ups, most notably Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Snapchat.

Why him?

Gary is an inspiration, partly because of his past achievements, but mostly because he makes time for people. He gives people access to his world through his vlog ‘Daily Vee’, and offers so much value to everyone that you are overwhelmed by gratitude for him if you follow the content for any length of time. He’s an advocate of hustle, preaching that talent only takes you so far, that actually, WORK is the variable.

Gary sounds cool, where can I find out more?

Head over to his website https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com/ and you’ll find links to all of his social channels. Gary’s energy is truly captured in his video content so I’d advise you check that out first.

Steven Bartlett

Who’s he?

Steve is the 24 year old the co-founder and CEO of influencer marketing agency Social Chain. Social chain owns some of the most popular twitter, facebook and Instagram accounts, some of which I’m sure you’re familiar with. A few examples: Student Problems, Sporf, Love Food, Game Byte and Love Travel. Connect these followings together, and you have a powerful influencing force to reckon with!

Why him?

Steve has had a bit of bumpy ride along the path to success, most entrepreneurs have to be fair! He dropped out of university, started a business that wasn’t hugely successful and had to live on practically nothing whilst he built it. However, he got back up, saw a gap in the market which was capturing attention through social media and created a hugely successful, rapidly scaling business. Perseverance is absolutely key in the entrepreneurial journey. I hugely respect anyone that has displayed it and is willing to share about it to inspire/encourage people. Like Gary Vee, Steve offers massive value and golden nuggets of wisdom to anyone willing to listen through his daily vlog ‘Everyday Steve’.

Steve sounds like a winner! Where can I find out more?

Tony Robbins

Jacob mate, I know who Tony Robbins is! Most of you probably do, but I’ll do a little summary just in case!

Tony Robbins is a world wide phenomenon, so it’s crazy that I’ve only discovered him this year! He’d kind of fall into the category of motivational speaker/life coach and also mentors some of the worlds top leaders, his previous clients including Bill Clinton, Princess Dianna, casino magnate Steve Wynn and Salesforce.com founder Marc Benioff just to name a few! He’s an active philanthropist: Through his partnership with Feeding America, he has provided over 200 million meals to those in need in the last two years, and he is on track to provide a billion meals by 2025, what a guy!

Why him?

Tony has an incredible ability to inspire, no matter what stage of the journey you’re at. He’ll encourage you to give up your pre-conceived limiting beliefs and motivate you to take MASSIVE ACTION toward your goals. A lot of that is simply figuring out what your goals are, and adjusting your mentality to get there. I think a lot of us carry some form of limiting belief, often tied into past experiences. I love anyone that pushes positivity as a key catalyst to effective change in our lives, and Tony encourages you to do this with plenty of power and conviction!

What a legend, where can I find out more?

I think Tony offers alot of value to people looking for a change/a kick up the arse, but it can be difficult to find free content by him. I’d start with watching his Netflix documentary ‘I’m not your Guru’ for some insight into his process and perhaps check out his medium page.

Thanks for reading, I really hope some of this has been useful. Who inspires you? I’d love to hear in the comment section below!
