Bridges of Bangladesh.

lalon_shah_bridge.jpg is a road bridge in Bangladesh. It was constructed over the river Padma beside the Hardinge Bridge. Lalon Shah Bridge is the second largest bridge in the country. This is a four lane bridge and the total length of the bridge is 1.8 km. The total cost of the bridge is Tk 1064.53 crore. Of the total, the Japanese Government provided Tk 819.19 crore and the balance was given by the Bangladesh government. The bridge has been constructed at 300 meters downstream of the Hardinge Railway Bridge to link Pabna and Kushtia districts. There are 17 spans in the bridge and 16 km linkage road on both the sides of the bridge.
