So the other day, I fell foul of @keys-defender; this is a new (To me) Bot that checks links to ensure they are secure HTTPS and highlights a post if it has used insecure HTTP URLs. Unfortunately, this caught me at a bad time, so I suspect my well-known nuclear response to the most trivial things was well over the top as usual. However, in my defence, every time I go on Hive, I'm paranoid that I'm going to fall foul of someone's idea of how Freedom should be interpreted on the Hive blockchain.
I wrote a scathing reply to the comment on my original post and vented my spleen on some additional responses that I had. But then something brilliant happened, something I feel Hive is lacking. keys-defender responded to my reply on the original post made on the Hive platform and apologised! No running off to Discord they responded directly back to the place where the accusation was made. PERFECT! Not only that, but they also apologised, explained AND gave a solution to ensure nobody else gets tagged with a false-positive again. This is how ALL of you should behave Transparency none of this trying to fathom out how to join Discord, working out how to join a channel and then sorting it out on Discord while the original black mark remains on your post for all the world to see without any comment or explanation from the self-appointed governing body on your original post to countermand their original accusation.
I'd love someone to explain to me how a new member to Hive, two years down the line, who comes across your post and sees, for example, a hive-watchers warning in your comments are supposed to know that it was all a terrible mistake, and you're not the scumbag that the black mark makes you out to be?
So thanks keys-defender for your apology, apologising on my post and rectifying the problem. I'll be sure to look out for you and maybe drop you the odd reward here and there. This is how Hive should be!
