Reading books very often helps to distract from problems in life, and relax a little. In the modern world, reading books is not very popular, as modern technology has replaced modern books, and now it is much more interesting for teens to play video games than to open a paper book.
The problem with literate speech, a small vocabulary, and ignorance of so many interesting places / situations in the world suggests that a person either does not read at all, or reads very little.
I'm not saying that you need to read all your free time, but this is not a superfluous occupation in your life. The book can be added to any schedule of the day, even the most downloaded one. While you are traveling in the transport - you can read the book, while you eat you can read the book, you can read the book before going to bed, or if you have canceled a meeting with someone, you can also read.
If you have a very tight schedule, you can read them in pieces, for example 5-10 minutes a day, but every day.
The most important thing is to find the book to your liking.
Now very many people switch to e-books, let's discuss the pros and cons of electronic books:
- can be read in the dark
- will never crumble
- You can adjust the font size, brightness, and so on.
- discharges at inopportune moments
- spoils the eyesight
- very tired eyes
- Do not make notes
- there is no sensation of the pages
- there is no smell of this paper (who knows, will understand what I mean)
Now about the cons and pros of paper books:
- the feeling of a real book
- you can take notes right next to the text
- does not spoil the eyesight
- expensive
- may be crumpled
- you can not read in the dark
It seems to me that a real paper book is several times more interesting and better, but it's up to you.
And what do you prefer, and how often do you read books?
