The most awaited event of each college students every year is the Acquaintance Party. It is an event where each student among the department is given a chance to know and meet their colleagues.
This year's CCS Department acquaintance theme is "The Geek Mafioso". It is chosen and voted by the students of CCS Dept. It is a combination of Geek Style and Mafia Convention. The party was held at Oakridge Pavilion at A.S. Fortuna Banilad, Cebu City at 6:00pm last August 30, 2018. The event was hosted by our co-ccs students, Marc Lenard Colina and Camille General. CCS is composed of students from IT, IS, and Animation.
Students are also given a chance to capture memories at the Photo Booth for free and take note, unlimited photos. But it will surely take time because the line's too long and you still have to wait for your turn. Nevertheless, it surely will be worth it.
The event's highlight for the night is the Ms. Q&A 2018. There were 5 (male) contestants and they were chosen on the spot. It's quite funny because the contestants are so witty and we all had a lot of fun.
It has been a tradition of the CCS Department, according to Miss Moma, the department's dean to encourage (force) all the fourth year students to showcase their talents by having a presentation. According to her, it is to give way for the students to have fun despite all the things.
We also ate and the foods are all delicious unlike last year. The officers did a great job in organizing the event because the event was successful and even though we all paid quite expensive, it's still all worth it.
