I'm not dead, just a Tarnished Dweller

Ok so, I'm not dead, but haven't been feeling up to writing lately. Yesterday, however, a scenario was proposed that I wanted to share.

So I was casually scrolling and listening to TikTok while playing Elden Ring. And then I hear the question:

"The last two video games you've played have been combined into one and you are now the hero of this new world, how screwed are you?"

Welp, one of them is Elden Ring, so that's... fun. The other? That would be Fallout 76. Don't judge me, I know how "bad" it is. I keep playing in hopes that one day it will be... not "bad". In it's defense, it has been getting better. The content is still lacking though. Maybe one day it will be good... but I digress.

So I started to think about what Fallout: Elden Ring would be like. I began by looking into various similarities between them. Both have a kind of grim darkness to them, one was caused by magic, the other by corporate greed. Both have giant monsters. Both have people warped by various corrupting influences. Both have a form of the undying. The list goes on.

And the more I thought about it, the more I kinda want a game like that. A Sci-fi Souls game were you collect "Radiation" and use it to mutate yourself to become stronger. A Fallout game with a deep and troubling story about the hubris of humankind and its desire to consume, fully embracing the grim darkness of its world's setting. A game where you are constantly being cloned and have to recover parts of you corpse.

I would play the hell out of that game, how about you? Would you play that game? What about your world, what video game combo would you end up with, let me know in the comments. Till next time happy gaming and Victory by Dice.

Also, to answer the question, my response was, "Oh FUUUCCCKKK, this is going to suck..."
