Old Years Thoughts, and New Years Hopes

So, the year has come and gone.

Many things have happened this year, some great and some terrible.

What can be said in New Year rhymes,
That’s not been said a thousand times?
The new years come, the old years go,
We know we dream, we dream we know.
We rise up laughing with the light,
We lie down weeping with the night.
We hug the world until it stings,
We curse it then and sigh for wings.
We live, we love, we woo, we wed,
We wreathe our brides, we sheet our dead.
We laugh, we weep, we hope, we fear,
And that’s the burden of the year.
— Ella Wilcox

At this time I remember the tragedies that occured during 2017 and I hope for peace in 2018, and the resolve for each of us to make it happen in whatever small way we can.

No candle loses its light while lighting another candle

I'd like to use some of the privileges afforded to me (or luck, or blessings, depending on how you choose to see them) to help those who have been less so. Crypto has been very good in 2017. It may not be much in the grand scheme of things, but each of us may be able to do something small and a thousand small things can be a big thing. Just a thought for your new year!

Wherever you are, be safe and be well!

Have a great New Year and all the best to you and yours.

Upwards and onwards for 2018.
