If you have any consumer problems with a company soliciting business in USA and they are not responding properly and promptly to your issues, then you should contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for assistance. A friend had his account "disabled" at Bittrex after attempting to transfer funds into the account. It was over a week with no response. A search on Reddit showed others posting waits of over 1 month and still waiting. After reaching out to the CFPB which sent email to Bittrex, he received an email from Bittrex within 3 business days saying they are now aware of the issue and are giving it the highest priority to resolve asap. In a total of 6 days after reaching out to the CFPB he had his account fully restored.
BTW, Mick Mulvaney is the Trump-appointed director of CFPB now. He is trying to strip all power from the CFPB because the Administration feels it is not business-friendly. Read how he as requested zero funding for the agency. People are funny. They like to criticize government for rules and regulations until they are a victim. Then they expect all kinds of government-backed rules and regulations to help them resolve their issues. A very wise and rich person told me the reason the USA is the greatest country is because of its many rules of law and regulations which are enforced by a central government. Countries which struggle or are "developing" countries don't have enough rules of law and regulation which are effectively enforced.
