As I told you my interest for people to know more about my country is one of my concerns because I feel that now it's our time to be known for other things than just drugs and prostitution,with all due respect this is why a lot of foreigners travel here to begin with. This is only a small percentage compared to those visitors that come here and cherish everything we have, specially our birding paradise.
#Colombia is the first country in the world with the longest list of the most varities of exotic birds that you can ever think of with an astonishing recording of 1900 species and #3 in the Neotropics ecozone with the most endemic species, meaning you can only see those "lifers" in our country. Due to our large extension of land, there are several birding sites throughout the country, from the Pacific Choco lowlands, to the Central Andes Paramo and Central Andes cloud forest.
