Eccl.9.4 - For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. [KJV]

A lot of people who still have lost hope in themselves and life as a whole. The y have lost faith their ability to make meaningful use of the life they have. Over time, I have come to realize that life is a gift, therefore we should make the most use of it.

The week is just about halfway, and I can say I have had a couple of things to struggle with. My father lost someone really close to him and it hit him really bad. From what he said, they had a lot of things to do together in the month of July. Guess those plans are never going to be executed, at least not by the both of them ever again.

My point is only the living that makes plans and only the living executes these plans. Just like the above stated Bible verse says, For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope.

Hope is for the living alone, the dead have no hope. I happen to talk to two different ladies yesterday, and I was surprised about how much they had lost hope in themselves. They had lost faith in themselves and their world just because they were going through a rough patch in their lives. I did my bit in motivating them to start believing in themselves again and we parted ways with them feeling inspired.

As people, we go through travails on a daily basis, sometimes it feels like we are not going to make it through, sometimes it feels like our world would crumble. This is why some people even consider suicide. The pressure gets really high and we loose hope in ourselves.

In order to make the best use of the life we have, we have to believe that we affect ourselves and our environment first. Remember, it all starts with believing.

Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.
