Hi, what's up Steemians! It's finally Saturday so it's time for my second time participating in this #beersaturday challenge. After the last week, I couldn't wait for this Saturday to come. This time I'm reviewing a new beer that I found recently at my local grocery shop. It was last Tuesday that I found this beer standing among the other ones on the shelf. Because I never saw this brand of beer before I decided to buy it and use it for #beersaturday contest. So it was waiting patiently in the fridge all back from Tuesday and I just can't wait to finally try it.
I prefer my beer in a glass bottles because I think that beer tastes better from the bottle. Unfortunately, this beer only comes in 0.33l cans. Never mind I bought it anyway and decided to give it a try. Name of the beer is KAJ-EL and it's produced by the little brewery located in the town Čakovec Croatia. Later I found that they start making beer in 2016, so that's why I didn't see their beers in the shops because they're just starting. The name of this brewery is "Lepi Dečki" and it means pretty boys on Croatian. I found it very funny. On the label, it says that this is their’s first superhero beer made with the goal to gently and safely introduce you to the world of the craft beer. But enough about the brewery let's taste the beer.
When I opened the can and started pouring the beer into the glass a really creamy thick foam was starting to build. The beer is dark golden amber color and since it's not filtered or pasteurized you can’t see through it. The smell is just beautiful and it fills the entire room. The taste is little bitter, hoppy with a hint of grapefruit and lemon.
I really enjoyed drinking and reviewing this beer and I will definitely buy it again.
