My brother’s birthday was yesterday. He is out of the country, but we celebrated his day despite the distance. We sang him a birthday song while he was on video call so he could be part of the celebration. There was enough food for everyone.
I made him a chocolate strawberry cake, his favorite. I spent the morning gathering the ingredients and carefully following the recipe. I put a lot of love into making the cake.
When the cake was finished, I put it on a plate and decorated it with fresh strawberries. I couldn’t wait to show it to my brother.
When I showed him the cake on video call, he was very happy. He said, “Thank you for making me my favorite cake!”
We sang him a happy birthday song and then we ate cake and celebrated.
Even though my brother is far away, we were able to celebrate his birthday together. The cake was a symbol of our love and connection.
