'Stare' painting

Hey guys, here is another one of my acrylic paintings that I thought you might be interested in having a look at. This was inspired by a cat that met during a walk in the park next to my house in Cyprus. The park is covered with cats, most of which either run away from you in fear or weave themselves around your legs begging for food. This cat however was completely calm, simply witnessing, not avoiding and not seeking anything. It's not easy to communicate in words (which is why I painted it :) but I feel we shared something beautiful for a moment.

The painting was created in Vienna while studying with Li Lian Kolster.
