I did this to bring attention to the diversity in Afro
American women’s hair. To long women of
color have been forced to put chemicals in their hair
because white society said they had to if it wasn’t
naturally straight. Some even bleached their skin
to lighten it. Now is the time for sisters to let their
natural natural hair show straight or not.
