Meet the sRGB Unit: Synchronized Research Generation Bot Unit...
( ̄^ ̄)ゞ
Made up of 3 bots. SurveyorBot, CollectorBot and ObserverBot. The three are connected in a wireless manner, by an advanced technology that let them share any bit of information they "perceive" with almost zero latency. This allows them to function as a singular entity which would be present at three different places at once analyzing and generating data of some place, ecosystem or phenomenon at a highly elevated rate. Each one is equipped with a set of unique dispositives, sensors and data processors specialized for their particular set of tasks and capabilities. Also they have highly cognitional habilities thanks to advanced algorithms for analyzing information, processing data, generating new data and making decisions.
SurveyorBot
SurveyorBot can fly at any altitude and reach exceptional high speeds. Can travel on empty space too, zero gravity conditions and under most fluids if necessary, enduring the pressure of the lowest depths.
It is equipped with a set of hyper high speed sonar, infrared, and high-wavelength scanners that let it map a 3.3 hectometer radius sphere of wherever it is at the moment. It's goal is to generate geological data apart of creating a 3D map of the zone or phenomenon researched.
Its sensors can also detect and scan organisms and chemical compositions so it provides a wide view of the "big picture". It analyses how the subject matter behaves at macro level, whole ecosystems, herds and packs of organisms, forests etc... Macro systems and its interconnections... big picture again.
CollectorBot
CollectorBot has special equipment that let it do two main unique tasks, first task, it can function as a sort of mobile lab, it can analyze chemical and biological compositions of most substances it come across with at a microscopic level. So it can generate data about materials, substances, chemical interactions, ecosystems compositions etc...
Second task, if there's a sample it deem worthy of keeping for further analysis in a specialized lab or for tissue or chemical synthetic recreation it can collect it. It's equipped with special limbs that let it maneuver matter. For example if it senses a rare unknown substance under a rock, it can move the rock and collect a sample of said substance. It just need as little as a unitary cell, molecule, or cell samples. It can collect billions of tiny samples in the orb thing in its face.
ObserverBot
This one is equipped with a set of special and advanced cameras, sound devices, temperature sensors, atmospheric conditions analyzers and chemical signaling (odors) sensors . Its main task is to observe, analyze and record interactions that need time to develop and that is necessary to wait to analyze in their natural time cycles. Like interactions between macro organisms, social interactions, visual development of a phenomenon, odors, sounds etc.
Kind of a long post, sorry. I spent hours in the making of these guys... performance issues with the lap. It became a nightmare hahahahaha waiting for the lap to unfreeze after changing a tiny parameter like for literally 20 mins. I used a chronometer... seriously. But here they are. At first when posted the Bugbot I didn't have this backstory thought. But in the making of the other bots I tripped myself of these guys working as a single entity mapping and analyzing an alien planet at a super high speed. Just imagine if there was something like these guys, the amount of data that would generate would be amazing. Obviously they should be programmed for not pose a threat to the environments, organisms and phenomena they'd analyze. Also came up with the sRGB name, that's why they're one Red, one Green and one Blue haha. The things one come up with when no sleeping healthfully.
Oh yeah the final image. This one took me forever to set up the scene in 3D... nightmare.
The unit in all its splendor... "Splendid?!" - Immortan Joe yells when looking for his babes-slaves.
Couple of shots I didn't include in the finals:
Time to sleep.
First... if you could be too kind to advise me. What kind of tags would be nice to use with this kind of post?
