Hello everyone, in 2021 I am trying to produce a craft work, which is a miniature ship that I made just to decorate my house, this process takes about 20 days, because I am busy with my daily work so it takes quite a long time to solve it.
This handicraft only uses natural materials, namely bamboo. in this article I will discuss the journey of making these crafts.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and don't forget to like it.
Here I just thought about going to write about "my craft" on this Hive platform after I finished crafting my ship about 60%, but with my intellect, I tried to repeat it with my own story.
The only tools I use are a knife, scissors and glue with a strong adhesion to wood. The following is a picture when the ship is at 60%, why do I say it is 60%, because the ship's shape is visible, and it is covered with a layer of bamboo. in making this craft, I was inspired from the ship in the movie "Pirate Of Carabian" so similar to the ship.
The first thing you have to prepare is Bamboo that has been dried so that the fibers in the bamboo have formed hard, and minimize the risk of breaking the bamboo.
In making sails, I also forgot to take pictures, so I just need to tell, in making the sails of the ship, I used bamboo lua skin which was really dry, so it was very flexible following the shape of the sail.
At this stage I did it very carefully because I was afraid that the glue would drip onto the bottom of the ship
This has entered 90% of the ship shape, here I just adjust the color so that my miniature ship is very similar to the Jack Sparrow ship, in this painting I am always careful because if the paint falls to the bottom of the ship, it is very difficult for me to clean it considering the circumstances that have been so 90%.
actually before the sails are installed on the ship, the sails have been painted first, to minimize paint spills.
This is the result of my craft, miniature "Jack Sparrow" ship from my own hands.
if you have inspiration in crafts, please contact me, and we will make it together.
I apologize if my writing is not perfect in your eyes, thank you for reading, I love you, and I also love handicrafts
