Hello friends...

I want to share with you some parts of the design process for the logo of a virtual children's clothing store of Venezuelan origin Turpial kids. This initiative arises from the undertaking that little by little we build my wife and I, she makes all kinds of clothes (her specialty swimsuits), but we want to focus on the smallest of the house, my contribution is related to graphic design and be it the pieces or the marketing that this entails.

Get a good name that represents our work, I think it's one of the hardest things to get whenever you like a name that already exists and if it never convinces you, but Turpial Kids we love it for its sound and what our National Bird represents for us

Process

The first thing is to create a sketch with the main idea, luckily we already had a very clear idea of what was wanted and the process of sketching was very short. All that remains is to digitize it.

For this process we use the program vectorial of preference and we proceed to create strokes based on the reference of the sketch, we can use geometric tools or free stroke as the pen tool.

Once digitized, it is easier to create variations and change positions to reach the desired result.

When the idea is already clear, we only need to add details and one that was missing from our logo was to relate it to the bouquet of the clothes, which is why the hook icon was incorporated, riso represents to the hair laugh that babies usually have.

Finally, we add the color these are extracted from the original color of Turpial yellow, black and white. On the other hand, the colors of the word Kids are warm and cold colors that represent that nice variety with which children surprise us with vitality, agility, energy and more....
