Hello steemit! Hello there steemians.
This will be my very first, official, personal blog, and let me start off this blog by yelling:
HELP ME RESURRECT MY BRAIN TISSUES BECAUSE HELL WEEK IS HERE!
Yes, the Hellweek has arrived in the University and our professors are racing against time. Last minute requirements are being shoved and thrown at us as if he had just committed crimes, only punishable by being stoned to death.
Anyway, I spend a lot of time planning and constructing my blogs and current circumstances doesn't give me enough time but I want to post something so badly it is starting to become frustrating. So I thought about any interesting stuff about me that I could share to you guys, and had one great idea (I hope).
I will walk you through my little art exhibit. :)
Yey!!!! *applause* *confetti*
Quick background, I love doing art, charcoal drawings, acrylic paintings, watercolor, color pencils, origami, or just plain pen. For me, they all have their charms and really challenge my hand control and imagination. But I tend to be quite a perfectionist and after a year, most of artworks soar high into the air and are dumped into the trash can. Yes, I throw them out because once I compare them with my new, improved pieces, I find them imperfect and cannot bear to keep them so I throw them away.
A lot of people told me that I should never throw any of my works away for they are evidences of my improvements and are proof of my love for art, so I will try to keep them from now on.
So, some of the pieces I would share with you guys are my entries from Inktober2017 (most of them I threw away already) and some were from a few years back. These are works using ball pens and gel pens. I would gladly appreciate suggestions and constructive criticisms.
I am also happy to say that by tinkering around Photoshop's tools, I learned to refine my drawings, mainly because the camera and lighting I used to take photos were not that awesome. I recently read somewhere that cleaning up your art and refining them before sharing them for people reflects how we value our artworks and how we present them to others. Cheers!

One of my favorite entries for Incktober2017. The day I fully appreciated understanding Proper Perspective
#2
A dragonfly whose wings took me hours to finish, because I love clean, neat, fine lines.
#3
My guitar, from a perspective which was difficult for me to put on paper, but I did not give up so.. Ta-dah!!
#4
Mariang Banga, one of the several landmarks in our University. Its a special place I guess.
#5
Fungal fruiting bodies. I am a Plant pathology major and my thesis primary uses Tissue Culture and one of my major problems is contamination by fungi. I guess thesis problems can be reflected in artworks huh?
#6
The Carillon tower, another landmark from the University. It took me only a few minutes to sketch this one.
#7
That flower from the Inauguration of our new building from Calamba City Science High School. This was from 2014, an old piece but was the first piece which inspired me to try out draw using a pen.
#8
And lastly, a doodles shell. I was inspired by the fact that I have never seen the sea or any ocean before.
Thank you for stopping by!
Stay awesome!
