'Africa’s most significant museum in over one hundred years'.

Good morning all,

So working in Events Management in South Africa, especially in Cape Town, is pretty cool because you get to experience a lot of different types of events. The current talk of the moment?

Zeitz MOCAA.

We have been super busy with the launch of Africa's newest museum, so I thought why not share some cool information with you guys, because this is going to be a special gem that everybody needs to visit!

For starters: the location is at V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

According to the museum organizers, the Zeitz MOCAA hopes to be the world’s largest museum dedicated to showcasing contemporary art from Africa and its Diaspora. The new facility also aims to provide economically viable access to a core collection of art to the public, as well as operate appropriate schools programme to enrich, inspire and bring art and culture to school children.

The objective, organizers says, is "for Zeitz MOCAA to be seen as giving back to Africa and telling the African history story through art and culture".
