Watercolor Portrait: Fan Art Time!

Hey everybody! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on here and I apologize for that. However that comes with some exciting news! I’ve lived in Montana my entire life and for a matter of months I’ll be moving to Missouri! I’ve never been there and I know absolutely nobody there and nothing about the place so I’m expecting a fun, new experience.

Currently I’m on the road, but thankfully the hotel I’m staying in has WiFi. Traveling with my rabbits makes it a slow trip by car, but as they say: “It is what it is”.

Now to the artwork! If you’re unfamiliar with @absoluteama you are missing out. Her artwork is completely out of this world. She has original pieces and other kick ass merchandise available and I would DEFINATELY reccomend checking her out. I’m very much a fan, so I decided to do some fan art!

Absolute Ama does some amazing stuff with water color so I thought it was only fitting that I did this piece in watercolor as well!

The jellyfish seemed a good fit. It gives me ethereal vibes.

I also mixed my Liquitex and Speedball Inks to get the linework. Fun fact, tiny tabasco bottles are great for storing your inks you mix.
