Yesterday a friend of mine sent me the official Inktober word prompts and for a second I couldn’t believe that it’s nearly October! I swear I remember writing about Inktober 2018 like it was just yesterday! I had begun with this awesome challenge last year but it got interrupted because of my Euro trip. (for which I ain’t even complaining :P)
But this year I am completely on board with inking some stuff and maintaining some consistency. For those of you who are new to this challenge, Inktober is a 31 days challenge where people (of any skill level) from all around the world share their ink drawings on social media! You simply need to use #inktober2019 while sharing it and boom, you make your way into this beautiful world 😁

For me it is a delight to just even have a peak at the world pool of talented people and watch them make super cool stuff. There are plenty of videos on Youtube where artists have shared their inktober “sketchbooks” and they are a must watch if you want that rocket boost of inspiration!
You can also use your own word prompts if you feel that you can’t follow the official one. The only goal is to get you started somewhere so DO NOT let a list stop you from doing so. Obviously Instagram is already flooded with Inktober 2019 posts with many artists sharing their own word prompts.
I can already feel the excitement as it is getting closer, can you? There are a lot of great artists and art lovers here so let me know if you guys are in this year! Maybe, we can motivate each other every day and share it here too! Cheers :)
