Changi Airport, the world’s best airport is now even better with the recent opening of Jewel, home to the world’s tallest indoor waterfall! The star attraction is the 40m tall HSBC Rain Vortex which cascades through a huge oculus in the centre of Jewel with a surrounding lush green environment.
Featuring a doughnut-shaped exterior framed in steel and glass, the 135,700sqm space is a multi-use complex connecting three of the four terminals. Built at a cost of S$1.7 billion, Jewel has 10 stories - five above ground and five in the basement.
