Hanging bridges, as we call, are among the most exciting things we had when we were small kids. I remember one walking-distance away from our family house in Paratong. With my sisters and nieces, we had to escape during our siesta time and run or bike going there. As we enjoy talking about cool stuffs we had in mind, we would always take the long route which passes along the corn fields instead of the concrete road.
Now that I am adulting, wiggly and brokem hanging bridges still excite me. Whenever I go to places with hanging bridge, I don't wanna miss the chance of getting a glimpse of it and running back and forth on it. Especially, when my companions are scaredy cats, I enjoy it more to rock the bridges while looking at their horrified faces.
Some hanging bridges are on top of creeks or rivers, some are on top of fields. The photo above was taken in Suyo, Ilocos Sur.
