This post came as an inspiration from a message from church service on Sunday.
It's just so unfortunate that most people living under different sorts of spells and are unaware of it.
There's this thought that we African's can be so superstitious, act and believe all sorts of superstitious things. To be frank with you, these things really exist everywhere, even outside our own Africa, though I still say that most times, the only way out of some certain things is our believe and mindset..
In my post today, I will be focusing on the scriptural perspective of this, #curse.
Curse
- A solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something....
- An offensive word or phrase used to express anger or annoyance.

Scriptural View
Curses are spiritual decree or laws that are ordained to come to pass. They are released or they come to an effect by breaking a convenant or oath with and by God.
And also, when a convenant is entered with evil forces (devil's hand) it comes with a curse. This aspect is really one major thing people tend not to understand and many are guilty of this.
In the society and the world at large today, so many people in quest of riches, fame, protection etc, get into some spiritual convenant with all manner of things unaware of the later consequences of these actions. This could lead to a long standing ancestral curse which may live long into generations.
No good thing comes easily and there's always a price to pay for whatever we want...
However we should know that, curses are payments. These payments are for iniquities, Romans 2:28-29.
Curses can also come as a provocation or pronouncement upon and individual.
Invocations or pronouncements of evil by anyone who has a higher authority or communion with evil.
This results from breaking an oath or convenant with God and also going against his commandments. Exodus20:47.
Sometimes, some people enter into curses by the reason of the places they enter, reside in or places they work, their houses, offices, shops etc.
What makes a curse succeed
• Ignorance.
• Disobedience.
Revelation12:11, Zachariah9:11.
Breaking The Curses
Note that God alone has the Supreme power against every other god and alter of curse and him alone can destroy any form or channel of curses.
However, to have dominion over any level of curse, certain measures must be taken:
• Salvation: Being born again, colosians1:13, this alone can liberate you from any convenant of curse.
• Repent, confess and renounce your sin and that of your ancestors. Proverbs 28:13.
• Engage in the power of obedience to God's commandments. 2Corinthians6:16, Numbers23:19-23.
• Engage in the power of Faith by believing what God says about you.
• Engage the power of prayer, because with prayer an alter can be brought down.
Prayers, move mountains...
• Engage in the Anointing: this is engaging the spirit of God through the anointing. 1samuel14:13, Isaiah10:27.
By the blood, you invoke, you speak the liberty of yourself. You confess the liberty by #Faith. Mark11:11.
The anointing, speaks above and louder than any force of the devil and commands a higher authority than any other authority.
It's breaks any bondage and curse from any alter of any form...
