My Actifit Report Card, Update, Brexit Party, and Super Bowl Prediction: January 23 2020

Hi Everyone,

I am posting my Actifit Report and update a day early. I got my shopping on Thursday instead of Friday because of a few other things I needed to do. Posting my Actifit Report for my shopping day makes the most sense, as it is the day I normally have my highest count.

Content Update

I have posted twice since my previous Actifit Report. I posted about my projects and contributions as an economist. This was an epic 4,000+ word post. The post was probably more for me than my followers. It is like a record of the areas I have focused much of my attention as well as a reminder of where I should remain focused.

My second post was much shorter. In that post I explain how I use Steempeak bookmarks and labels to organise my content. Preparations for that post made preparations for my 'Projects and Contributions' post much easier. Steempeak has so many great features, I strongly recommend exploring it.

I should have another two posts out before my next Actifit Report. One of these posts will be about 'Health'. I will be discussing the desire for good health and the struggles the market has to effectively support health objectives. I will also be using the 'Prevent, solve, and manage' approach, which I discussed recently in a post.

Brexit Party

Next time I post an Actifit Report, the UK will be out of the European Union. The UK will be in what is called a transition period. So, not much is going to change yet. However, officially leaving the EU is a massive first step. Remainers might become Rejoiners or they might finally embrace an opportunity to help build a UK that is free from EU control. It is going to be tough road ahead and there are still many things that need to happen for the UK to thrive. I will write more about Brexit once more is available about the next phase. Now is a time for a brief celebration.

Super Bowl

A few months ago I predicted the 49ers would defeat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The 49ers were unbeaten at that point and had the hardest part of their schedule ahead of them. They lost three games in the second half of the season but managed an NFC number one seed. The defeats were close games and the team suffered injuries to several key players. For the playoffs, many key players have returned. They dominated both their opponents (Vikings and Oaxkers) to get to the Super Bowl.

My prediction of the Patriots was off. They struggled at the end of the season and were eliminated in the Wild Card round. The Ravens looked like the team to beat in the AFC. However, they lost at home to the Titans in the Divisional round. The Chiefs became the favourites. The Chiefs managed to defeat the Texans and then the Titans in the AFC Championship.

I think the Ravens against the 49ers would have made a more interesting Super Bowl. The two teams had a very close game in Baltimore early in the year, which the Ravens won. I believe a rematch would have been very close. I would slightly favour the 49ers as they are healthy and the Ravens would not have home field advantage.

A Chiefs against 49ers Super Bowl could still be a good game. There could be a lot of points. I think the 49ers will win comfortably. The 49ers are the better team and they matchup very well against the Chiefs. The 49ers should be able to run the ball with ease and George Kittle will dominate the Chiefs defence which is very weak at defending Tight Ends. The Chiefs have a very good passing offence but when healthy the 49ers, which they are now, have a great pass defence. The Chiefs will need to be able to run the ball with some success or their offence will really struggle.

I predict the 49ers to win 38-18. I think the Chiefs will finish the game with a late touchdown and two-point conversion.

That brings me to the end of a longer than usual Actifit Report. I wish you all a great weekend and a jubilant Brexit day.
