We spent today with our Geocaching friends, first meeting up for coffee and then helping to clean up a large multi-use park.
Twenty of us plus a few kids spread out across the park to fill our bags. We ended up leaving 6 full bags along the trails and piles of old pipes and construction debris were pulled together so the maintenance staff could pick them up after we finished.
Here are a few group members-
And later, with the bags and debris we brought back to the pavillion-
After lunch a small crew of us went to an Escape Room and worked together to solve a bunch of puzzles and rob a train, we escaped the room with 16 minutes left on the clock, it was great!
Then @lordvdr and I headed out of town, and geocached our way 2 hours north to Bigfork, MT.
We found some fun ones along the way-
That squirrel was swinging above a creek-
And a few hidden in between boulders-
@lordvdr above the cache-
And a magnetic one hidden on a bridge. The county really doesn't want large or heavy vehicles using this bridge, it shook with even a small vehicle!
The views along the Lake were quite nice but it was overcast most of the day-
And finally, beers and dinner at the Flathead Lake Brewing Company!
They were all very good, we took a growler of the Dirty Ginger to go!
There is another geocaching event tomorrow in Kalispell, MT and we agreed to drive another 20 miles up to Whitefish, MT after it so our group can try out another Escape Room up there. Plus we have to meet up with some family to give them items for an upcoming wedding. So it will be another busy day!
Happy Saturday everyone!
