Different race have different ways of burying their deceased, but from the beginning of the world, dead people are embalmed and put in a coffin, just like it happened in Egyptian, Hebrew and Isrealites.
The Egyptian put them in a coffin and embalm them, preserve them, they show respect and love to their dead relatives and Christians also respect the dead, they wrap their body in linen clothes and spray perfumes .
Even Joseph was embalmed and put in a coffin to show respect and love.
Joseph is the patriarch of Isrealites, when the lord Jesus Christ died , his body was also wrapped and put in a grave in Jerusalem.
The Jew also embalm ,wrap in linen, then put in a coffin before burying in a grave yard , that's the practice of the Hebrew and the practice of the first century Christians.
We Christian follow the Bible, we ought to follow the biblical way of burying the dead .
