It's been a while since I drew digitally, especially with my collab with ... And since we decided to do another collaboration, I wanted to practice first before I start with the actual collab.
The subject we chose for the collaboration is quite complicated especially for me who's still not used to drawing digitally, but I'm getting the hang of it somehow. Thanks to our previous collabs... They have also boosted my motivation to continue practicing.
I've been busy recently, though... Well, even now, but I'll do my best to insert drawing in my schedule whenever I can.
I didn't have any classes tonight, so I decided to practice drawing. I've been meaning to draw some Pokemon since I restarted playing Pokemon GO because of my best friend. And actually, my interest in drawing (traditionally) started with Pokemon as well. They're cute, and fun to draw...
So tonight, I drew three Pokemon I find interesting. I'm not familiar with them as I only know the first generation, but there are a bunch of amusing ones in the other generations. I'm slowly getting acquainted with them through the game. This time I chose Masquerain, Buneary and Frillish.

Aren't they the cutest? Anyway, let me share the progress screenshots I took for this artwork.

I started by sketching them lightly. I'm using the Medibang app on my tablet to do this. After sketching, I did line art, base coloring and finally, shadowing and adjustments for each character. I started with Masquerain, then Buneary and lastly Frillish. I hope you enjoy!

After finishing the three characters, I decided to create a simple background instead of using the free backgrounds available on the app. I went with the simple sky background.

I added their names to identify each character, and of course, I also added my signature in the middle.
It was a fun way to unwind and relax for me. And ohh... I'm only on my tablet now, but I tried looking for a free GIF maker website to create a GIF version of the whole process. Let me share it here, too!

Of course, this practice is far from enough to get me ready for my next collab art. However, I want to challenge myself more in terms of creating artwork or fanart, be it traditionally or digitally. So, we'll see how it'll go. I'll try to create more and practice more in the days to come.
I'll end this post here... Thank you so much for checking this out. See you around!! :D
