The streets just got a lot more dangerous.
We've spent the last couple of months building a fully on-chain, turn-based PvP arena where your crew's stats, class, and strategy decide who walks away. Today, we're opening the doors.
The Arena is Syndicate Protocol's competitive PvP mode. Deploy your three-crew lineup, climb the rating ladder, earn shards and currency, and prove your crew is untouchable.
Every battle is turn-based. Your crew's speed — driven by efficiency and intelligence — determines who acts first. Each crew member has a class with three unlockable abilities, and how you sequence them against your opponent's lineup is the difference between a clean sweep and a defeat.
Every crew member belongs to one of five classes, each with a distinct role in combat:
Enforcer — Raw muscle. Opens with Brute Force, softens enemies with Intimidate, and calls for Back Up to hit multiple targets at once.
Strategist — The mind behind the operation. Outmaneuver grants dodge, Coordinate buffs your next ally's strike, and Intel Drop cripples enemy accuracy for two turns.
Earner — Unpredictable and dangerous. Bribe can disable a target outright, Cut Deal steals HP directly, and Black Market is pure chaos — a random outcome that can devastate, heal, or shift the whole fight.
Scout — Speed and precision. Sneak Attack always connects and carries a crit bonus. Recon removes a target from the turn order. Escape Route heals your weakest crew member and primes their next strike.
Specialist — Cold-blooded efficiency. Precision Hit guarantees a crit on low-HP targets. Dismantle strips all active buffs from an opponent in one move. Full Force is exactly what it sounds like — pure damage, no frills.
Abilities unlock at levels 1, 5, and 10 and each has its own cooldown. Build your lineup around synergies, not just raw stats.
The Arena runs on a standard ELO system with a seasonal twist.
Every win and loss shifts your rating. Beat an opponent stronger than you — bigger gain. Lose to someone weaker — bigger drop. The math is honest.
Season resets happen monthly. At the start of each new month, your rating soft-resets to 30% of your previous score. A player who ended the season at 1600 comes back at ~480 — still ahead of new players, but the field compresses. No one runs away with the ladder permanently.
New players get a 10-match placement shield: you'll only face opponents within a narrow rating band while you find your footing.
You can't be online 24/7. Your crew can be.
Set a ghost lineup — your three-crew defence configuration — and it will automatically defend against challengers while you're away. Win or lose, you'll see the results in your debrief when you log back in.
Every month, win milestones reset and give you something to grind toward. Reach the thresholds and claim shard rewards that scale with your commitment:
5 wins → Common shards
10 wins → More common shards
20 wins → Uncommon shards
40 wins → Rare shards
75 wins → Epic shards
150 wins → Legendary shards (top of the ladder)
Milestones are cumulative. Hit them all in a single season if you can.
Free players get 3 matches per day. Premium players get 5. Need more? Paid slots are available for 50 in-game tokens each.
Crew fatigue is a real constraint. Each crew member has a daily fight limit based on rarity — common crew can fight once, legendary crew can go five rounds. Push too hard and you'll need to restore them.
Top 10 players at the end of each season earn chest and shard rewards:
Rank 1 — Vault chest + 5 epic shards + 3 legendary shards
Rank 2 — Vault chest + 3 epic shards + 1 legendary shard
Rank 3 — Black Market chest + 3 epic shards
Ranks 4–5 — Black Market chest + 2 rare shards
Ranks 6–10 — Syndicate chest + 1 rare shard
Note: Leaderboard rewards are subject to change in future seasons as the Arena matures and the competitive landscape evolves.
The leaderboard resets with the season. Every month is a fresh race.
