Our version is an oportunity for lots of soloists. They all get an oportunity to solo. Btw, I'm not soloing all the time or anything. It's called bass guitar, walking bass, two feel, and ambiguous chord charts. It's my job to invent bass parts 50 - 75% of the time. Maybe if I was a stronger reader, they would have more challenging written parts, but for now. They want me to make it up. No complaints from all the non-bass players.
This is a great version with big band and a singer, Shirley Horn: “Let Me Love You”.
We held this on back for that outdoor concert. There are some song parts that needed more time. I'm glad. I want to read notes.
Did you see mistakes? Do you thing I need more tri-tone substitutions? Did you like the feel? Did it rush or drag?
Sup dew?!?!?! Hit me back!
dang
