I have a good collection of some beautiful handmade Greeting cards from my childhood. It was one of the finest childhood memory that I relish and still cherish. It was like just out of the dream world, when many kids use to prepare Greeting cads to share the Christmas and New year wishes. Those greeting cards were decorated with Flowers, Plant leaves, Paper cuttings, ribbons and many other random stuffs. They all were pure DIY, a true acknowledgement of arts and crafts. Kids were happy making them and exchanging and sharing them during the Christmas or New year. It was like a competition and everyone like to make better than others. It was the time when we don't use to spend money on these cards. No expenses incurred and everything done in simple way. But time have changed and big companies like Archie's or Hallmark has taken over the greeting card business. Now people buy different cards from the expensive store and send to their known one. They are ready to pay heave prices for just a wish card. It was missing during my golden childhood days, when every celebration always were restricted to the minimalist way. Less spending and more enjoyment. But now when it comes celebration means making a hole in the pocket.

True joy is found in simplicity
Over the year the people lifestyle have changed so does the expenses on any celebration. People like to spend a lot to make their celebration grand. They wanted to make a memorable event. Few like to showoff and in process spoil many things. but I believe, the true celebration is one when it was arranged in minimal budget. it is better to make the event more fruitful by spending on useful stuffs and meaningful things. If the celebration can be orchestral in minimal way then it is better to enjoy it more. Seems people have forgotten the path of budget spending. It can be possible through various ways but people wanted them to be in limelight.
Creativity over cash
To celebrate upcoming festivities seasons on a budget, focus on DIY & Home Based Ideas. It is like cooking at home, baking your own cake, or plan a "potluck" party. Potluck is an effective way of celebration. I have been part of it in my office days. Asking the guest to bring some food item, add variety of food menu. A home made cake taste much better. Decorate a plain cake with candies or homemade toppers for a personal touch. It will appear better than those available in market. For organizing the part, choose free or low cost venues like parks or at home. For decorations, Use fairy lights, balloons, printed signs, or upcycled materials for themes like photo timelines. There are many way to make the occasion more meaningful. But before we need to set out a budget.
Celebrating on a budget is good because it allows you to enjoy special occasions without the financial stress of overspending. A budget acts as a financial roadmap, helping you monitor expenses and set spending limits to avoid unnecessary purchases. Budgeting helps prioritize the essential aspects of a celebration. A budget celebration emphasizes that the true essence of special occasions lies in togetherness and happiness, not the amount of money spent.
In good faith - Peace!!
