Wuffy where are you...?
So I stumbled across this cute looking robot dog the other day and it's certainly marketed well!
So well I was on auto-sus mode as soon as I stumbled on it and the < £30 price...
You can only get it from Wuffy.com (if it ever arrives if you buy it)
For just £30 you get a cute AI puppy which responds to you... it walks and it snuggles and the videos suggest it is pretty realistic.
There's a lot of reviews floating around saying how much kids love it, about how it's just like a real dog but 'without the shedding'....
And apparently according to the website it's good at teaching yr kids to be kind... although I kind of thought that was one of the points of parents..?
Most likely - £25 for this is just way too cheap!
And there are a tonne of AI videos 'reviewing' wuffy - many of them with a warning that you shouldn't buy the product - but then the content is pro-wuffy...
I was left wondering whether this is a real thing or not, and it turns out not, at least according to Trust Pilot...
The three videos above are all AI, i think the promo material on the Wuffy website are all AI....
The key thing above is Trust Pilot, where many genuine people with verified ID list comments, and they are clear that what you get is a shitty rigid dog, nothing like in the videos!
Probably the .8 is fake accounts giving good ratings...
If it's too good to be true, then it probably is!
