On a stalk of aging grass, I spotted a banana-stalk fly standing gracefully. It was so small, it was almost invisible. I'd been standing near this fly for a while, but I didn't notice it at first. I was focused on watching a butterfly dancing in the air, but it wouldn't land. It was only when I was about to move that I realized someone was staring at me. Its gaze seemed to be saying, "Hey, human, I'm here. Take a look at my beauty."
I took many photos of this fly, but only a few were good enough to share here. Most were blurry. Its tiny body made it difficult for my phone camera to capture its beautiful moments. But I was lucky, during the photo session, the fly simply remained motionless on the stalk of grass, completely unmoving. There was a breeze, but its body didn't move at all. Its long legs gripped the stalk tightly. Perhaps it realized it was being used as a model, so it didn't want to ruin the beautiful moment on my phone screen.
