But their true importance is that you can junction the character's different abilities to them, building unique systems and stats. That way, not only can we learn new spells, but also special abilities and even the creation of certain resources and weapons. In my last playthrough, I had set out not to leave any GF behind, since many have complex acquisition methods; sometimes I give up on them, but I didn't want that to happen this time. One of the GFs with a complex acquisition method is Doomtrain, as it is only available starting from the third disc of the game and after following a very specific series of steps. The way to obtain it is to gather the Solomon Ring along with 24 items, items that are not exactly easy to find. > ## En busca de Doomtrain (FFVIII) > En Final Fantasy VIII, las GF son criaturas mágicas que puedes invocar en batalla. Uno de los GF que tiene una forma compleja de obtención es Doomtrain, ya que solo está disponible a partir del tercer disco del juego y tras seguir una serie de pasos muy específicos. I used Cactilio and the Chocobos a lot.
