I don't know why but gymnastic rings always fascinated me. Maybe because it requires tremendous strength as well mind and body coordination. I would watch those athletes in Oplympic games, I would watch ring tricks in circus.
In fact, shows with gymnasts are my favorite in circus. They are so creative. It's not like they are doing one or two exercises but they are actually creating a show, a dance of some sort.
I always marvelled at their well-developed bodies. It seems impossible to comprehend for a couch potato like me how a person can do all these tricks and after that still be able to smile like after eating a cake.
How did they become like this? What was their first exercise they mastered? When did they hit the first roadblock? How did they pass through it?
The answers to these questions is hard to know of course. But I guess they can be applied to any expert in any field.
