In life, we all like to appreciate results and what has been proven to be true, legit, and works 100%. To better put it what most people want is a ready-made success that requires no effort on their own path. For this reason Most times we ignore those things that are still in the workings and probably still an imagined reality in someone else’s head that might offer a chance of success if we just take a leap of faith.
it’s a good thing to be early on new projects, but most times even if we are positioned to be among the early adopters there will always be challenges to be overcome. This is where many are easily swayed into giving up because they think the early phase should be over In no time and the success phase should come as soon as possible.
Take a look at cryptocurrency when it was launched and still in its early stage, do you think those who started back in 2009 with crypto are still the ones in it today? I bet some did, but if we draw out the charts we’ll realize that only a few are still actively building and grinding.
But for those who do and stick with it
There's always a catch
Here on Hive, we are still early to things like Web 3, but instead of sticking to what works, many people seem to be caught up in chasing the next shiny thing.
Today while I was creating and engaging on Inleo threads platform I saw in a thread about how the activity rate might’ve doubled down compared to the last when there was a zealy campaign.
I think when it comes to incentives, people can do anything just to get a share of the pie.
However, when it comes to something that needs to be done voluntarily, it’s usually ignored.
For instance, now that the first Leo ads have been rolled out to users according to their stake and also the launch of the evergreen content, you would think that that would be enough a catalyst to inspire people(Hivers) to start getting something done so that they can benefit long term from this great opportunity that is being offered to everyone.
Personally, I’ve been thinking about what to do so as not to make everything a free write, I’ve been thinking about diving into the gaming niche here on Hive, and then making tutorials to new users who I’m sure are just roaming about with no way to use the whole blockchain to the best of their ability.
Hive needs activity now
Effort can come later
Every so often I hear some old-time hivers talk about how some contents are written with zero effort and for reasons like that they don’t want to support them.
I think that’s a valid point to note, but when it comes to reality, we can’t all be the same nor can we write the same way. But we certainly can try to keep improving ourselves until we’ve become who we imagined ourselves to be. Just like how some people don't want to use the Inleo front-end due to how it's not perfect yet even though it works to the best of its capacity rn, and I bet it'll get better over time.
I see myself becoming an extraordinary writer here on Hive someday. I’m not there yet, far from it, but it’s a part of my long-term goals which I’m sure would become successful someday.
Slow and steady, wins the race
One thing about me is that I don’t like to do things the way other people do them. I didn’t even join zealy due to the energy I picked up from the campaign. Everything felt like a rush I couldn't handle at the time so I didnt bother to join in after the very first one.
Also most times the time always clashed with my sleeping time. I could’ve lost my sleep on it, but I see no reason for that because I believe I have my role to play as a community member and it’s not to get zealy-ed up and lose sleep for some bucks.
Focus on you
Staying focused on growing our hive account should be a top priority right now because there are a lot of benefits to it like having to earn more hive, and also you’re able to focus more on your growth and improvements instead of looking for a quick fix and a quick buck.
Now that the Leo ads and Evergreen rewards are in the setup of the Inleo community, I think it’s time I step up my game and let my imaginations run wild because if not now, then when?
until next time
