The bird I'm going to show you today was filmed in our garden; it's a beautiful young one of this species, which are truly delightful to watch. As I mentioned before, these birds are becoming more trusting of us, which is why they often come down to walk and feed in the grass.
La verdad es que no sabemos cómo se comportan estas aves cuando son ¨jóvenes¨: lo que sí sabemos es que cuando son adultas tienen un trinar realmente hermoso. También cambian mucho el color de su plumaje; los adultos tienen el color de sus plumas más brillantes y llamativos. En el video podemos ver a dos ejemplares adultos, y en la última fotografía vemos a un joven para que puedan notar la diferencia.
The truth is, we don't know how these birds behave when they are "young":but we do know that when they are adults they have a truly beautiful song. They also change the color of their plumage a lot; the adults have brighter and more striking feather colors. In the video we can see two adult specimens, and in the last photograph we see a juvenile so you can notice the difference.
