This is a very good topic, I love it. Because it happens to be one a lot of us have experienced at some point. I personally have experienced it a number of times.
Talking of writer's block, that frustrating and hooked moment when you want to write or put something down and you feel empty, nothing seems to be coming forth and you can't help but wonder if it wasn't the same you who wrote on a very deep topic just the day before.
And like I said earlier, I believe a lot of us have at some point experienced it. Back then when it happens to me, I do try to at least force something out, but I always type, delete, type, delete and all, it's just so frustrating. Especially when the topic I want to write on is one that has a deadline.
But now, I've discovered some things, things that have been helping me navigate it. I found out that at such moment, it's just best to close my notepad or note app and do either of this.... Either I take a walk to clear my head and view my environment, other times I step out to have a little chat with kids or even play with them,. sometimes I just lie down on the bed and play some soft music at a low volume. That is what I engage myself in any time I'm faced with a writers block.
It is working for me, and I can tell anyone to try either of it. They help you calm yourself, they help you clear your head, they help reduce the pressure you place on yourself, they help you recharge, and they leave you refreshed. After all of that, you can then go back to what you are having issues writing on and you will be surprised at how ideas will begin to flow naturally. So, that's it for me, I don't fight or force it, rather I give my mind the space it really needs.
