Greetings everyone, I welcome you all to my blog.
It's another great day to listen to the word of God by his servant Bro Eli Soriano
Many times, we complain about how often we pray and ask God for help, yet we feel as though no answer is coming. At times, we feel empty inside, as if nothing connects us to God anymore. Because of this, we begin to think that God is far away from us. But the real question is: Is God truly far from us?
God has never left His place beside us. He has always been with us and near us. Instead, we are the ones who chose to walk away from Him by following a different path of our own choosing. Let me explain this with a simple illustration.
A father builds a house where all his children are born and raised. In that home, he teaches them how to live, guides them, and provides for their needs. Whenever they face problems, they simply call their father and he helps them because they are living with him.
As time goes on, some of the children feel mature enough to make their own decisions. They desire freedom and choose to leave their father’s house, even though it goes against his wishes. They move out to live independently.
While living on their own, they experience difficulties just like they did when they were at home. They still call their father for help, but now his intervention is delayed—not because he does not love them, but because they chose to live far away from where he wanted them to be. Until they realize this and return home, things will not be the same as before.
In the same way, we as humans have the power to make our own choices. This freedom allows us to walk away from God through sinful lifestyles. Every choice we make has consequences, no matter how wise we think we are. Sin separates us from God, and until we turn away from that path and return to the life God expects us to live, we will continue to feel distant from Him.
One truth remains certain: God never moved. He is still at the same place where we left Him when we decided to go our own way.
