Dino Suit

I could not start 😭 keep staring at the blank sketchbook.Picked up my markers and decided to just create without overthinking today I Felt a bit unsure about this whimsical little character, but remembered that art does not need to be perfectwe just need to keep creating and sharing. Watched this sweet, dino suited character unfold right before my eyes the moment I let go of expectations. It was the plump shape that is running in my head that explains the marshmallow like appearance and shape of this character

My Creative Process

• The Expressive Foundation: Started with a simple line art sketch to capture that soft, contemplative expression and the plump shape I mentioned earlier

• Playful Color Palette: Used a warm orange for the dino suit to give him a friendly glow, then added tiny pink accents on the scales for that extra bit of personality. The colored pens are not easier for me to control the colors are really saturated so you see I am only using a few strokes to avoid saturating the whole areas with colors

• Minimalist Details: Added a bright green bow tie to bring a touch of elegance and playfulness to his suit, ensuring the look stayed balanced and fun.

Allowing myself to just draw and enjoy the ink hitting the paper completely refreshed my creative energy especially when I finally saw the character took form. Every single line is a step forward to avoid getting lazy and uninspired. I kept reminding myself that it should not be perfect and I need no right moment just start
