Hope we are all swimming in the ocean of good health. This prompt of 205e2 of the hive learners is really a wonderful topic to discuss one because language has been a very big barrier to the society and technology has done it best to bring it to us at an easy and cheaper way no matter our different location.
Language before now has been a very big barrier that hinders communication in so many ways . Language communication is really a barrier that can make one look like an illiterate in a new environment where he or she does not who the language. I have really been a victim of it . My first day to the northern part of Nigeria was really not funny, there in some of the areas language is a very big challenge whereby if you don't know how to speak their language it will really affect you because majority of them speaks their native language and believe so much in it that they don't even want to know yours or anything your speaking. Then what me and my guy did was to get a friend who taught us the minor and necessary ( few languages we need for the moment). That was how we managed to cope on the land then but honestly that language issue really taught us a lesson a big one in deed . knowing many languages most especially the ones used in you country is good because no one knows where he or she might find his or herself Tomorrow because as individual we have our daily leaving and this includes we travelling from places to places each day maybe for official duties or some other things and this exposes us to different environment and languages of people we don't know and languages we never heard.
Technology and software has really made things easier in this present days of ours ,it has limited the issue of language barrier there by helping people to understand other people's languages through the use of translator making it an easy and going one . But one thing we need to know is this, no matter how technology tries so much to make it more easier to us to understand languages , it is still good and of great benefit to learn languages because it will really go along way . Meanwhile there are times we have to speak to people face to face without the the use of devices and imagine when you don't have your device to translate it will really be a sort of embarrassment at that moment.
Language is a sort of barrier and it is very necessary we learn it , learn any of the languages will never be a waste because it will really serve one day. That is to say that no matter how fast and easy technology has made it to be it is still good and necessary for one to learn it. Ai sometimes teaching someone's language will not correctly teach you well , so i believe at some point that Ai is an enemy to the society when it comes to some things like language.
