Hello friends! Happy weekend. Welcome to yet another round of SMASH contest and my blog. Trust you're having a good time. Last week I couldn't join in the contest which I never bargained for, as it was part of my to-do list, despite how hard I tried to make out time to. It is what it is. Sometimes things go south as against one's plans, when such happens, you just have to dust up and move on to the next on list.
Whining over what didn't go well is a kind of distraction from focusing on the things to be done. Instead of casting blame or wallowing in regrets, the best you could do is to find a better way next time and restrategize to come out with a better result. That's the growth mentality. Funny enough I learned this later in my life's journey. Then, I'd be so hard on myself, whining and blaming myself instead of changing my state and looking for a way forward.
But I'm glad and thankful for this new version of me. Once things go wrong, I look for a possible solution as soon as possible. As blames and regrets wouldn't change anything, only a stable mind can, with the right mindset and a clearer view of how to go about it.
To hunt for some shadows for this post, while the sun was doing what it knows how to do best…perfect time for the game. I took my umbrella to go hunting. Take a look at what I captured.
This is my entry to the Shadow Hunters SMASH contest round 427.
Thanks for stopping by! 💚
