As many of you know, the series is supposed to be a faithful adaptation of the books—something that wasn’t really the case with the movies—and we start to notice this more in this fourth book; this is where the story begins to expand, which is why the books are longer. But best of all, this one—The Goblet of Fire—is absolutely amazing. There’s a ton of important information that was left out of the movies (probably due to time constraints), which makes the story much richer.

I really never cease to be amazed by every little detail as I read through the books. Even though they aren’t perfect, I think Rowling did a truly wonderful job with them. It’s very intense, and you can really feel the characters growing, delving deeper, and facing more dangers. I really liked Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and I’d love to share endless spoilers, but I’d rather encourage you to read the books yourself because they’re truly worth it. I’ll be back soon to share my thoughts on the fifth book, which is the longest in the series, but I’ve already finished it.
