Throughout the development of HIVE Reader, we’ve aimed to build a tool that adapts to users’ habits, rather than asking users to adapt to the tool.
Recently, HIVE Reader received a meaningful update. This update includes refinements to the interface, as well as improvements in personalization, navigation, and developer support.
Based on feedback from , we’ve added a Dark Mode. It helps reduce eye strain during nighttime or extended reading sessions, while also offering an alternative visual style. You can switch to it easily at any time.
To better serve users from different regions, we’ve introduced multi-language support. Currently supported languages include Chinese, English, German, French, Japanese, and Korean. We will continue to refine and expand language support based on usage and feedback.
We’ve made adjustments to the routing system. You can now directly access user profiles via:
https://reader.cutehive.com/@username
(e.g., https://reader.cutehive.com/@hiveio)
There’s no need to go through the homepage and search first, making it more convenient to visit or share specific profiles.
Recognizing that users have different preferences, we’ve added several customization options:
Search History: The input field now remembers previously searched accounts for quick access
Time Format Options: Choose between relative time, local time, or UTC
Default View: Select Posts, Wallet, or Activities as your default landing section
These options allow you to tailor the interface to better fit your usage habits.
For developers and advanced users, a Developer Mode is now available. When enabled, you can click the icon next to operations in wallet or account activity to view the raw JSON data, making it easier to inspect and understand on-chain data.
HIVE Reader is still evolving. Some features are not yet fully polished, and we will continue to improve them based on user feedback.
